Great idea, poor AI

This game has lots of potential. And the idea of the game to play only certain parts makes it fun and quick (games dont last forever). I find myself playing for a long time when I do play. The AI of your teammates is TERRIBLE. When you kick the ball to them as they run from side to side, they automatically stop running and slide (pointless slide) to get the ball and completely miss. When doing the training, the skill passing allows you to lead your teammates to get goals It is pointless to try this in game as your teammates do not continue to run in the same direction once you try to lead them (they run back toward you). I hope the creators can fix this. I just dont understand how it can work in training but not in game.
